Message from Headteacher
Welcome from the Headteacher
It is a pleasure to welcome you to Salisbury Academy for Inspirational Learning (SAIL). We are a new specialist school for learners with Autism, and those with social, emotional and mental health conditions (SEMH). When fully open we will cater for learners from 4 -19.
We aim to provide the highest possible quality of education for our children. This begins with the positive relationships that our staff team build with children and families. We know that our children learn best when they are happy and settled in school. We talk to our parents and families so that they are fully included in their child’s school experience.
All of our learners are seen and known as individuals. Within our safe, stimulating and nurturing environment we provide challenge and encourage resilience. Our curriculum is diverse and flexible to ensure we meet the needs of the whole child. We encourage each pupil to be creative, reflective and as independent as possible so that they can flourish. We aim to ensure that all we do will have a positive impact upon their future life.
We aim for all our children to become valued and valuable members of society. We are constantly looking for engaging, rich opportunities within our local community and beyond so that all children have experiences which link them to their wider world.
